- Quiet Weather This Week

The dry weather pattern continues this week under upper and surface ridging. The next chance for rain is not until late in the weekend. A slowly progressive pattern sees the ridge being flattened by northern stream troughing Sunday into Monday with a cold front bringing showers while slowly pushing south through the Great Lakes.

Aviation

Issued at 648 AM EDT Tue Oct 20 2026

VFR conditions will prevail through tonight. Winds will be light and variable, generally AOB 5 knots.

Marine

Issued at 132 AM EDT Tue Oct 20 2026

Winds and waves will remain relatively light this week. There could be areas of shallow fog at times this morning, especially in coastal areas.
