Discussion

KEY MESSAGE 1:Dry with seasonable temperatures through early next week.

Surface high pressure will continue to dominate the area into early next week. With clear skies and light winds overnight, and plenty of sunshine during the day, can expect big diurnal swings in temperatures, though they will stay around seasonal norms for this time of year. High temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s and lows in the 30s and 40s.

At this time, no precipitation is expected through at least early next week, and is not looking likely for the remainder of the month.

Aviation

VFR skies continue with the exception of some possible brief patchy fog at KLWB early Wednesday morning. Otherwise, winds will be light (between 4-8 knots) mostly from the north and it will be another clear day tomorrow for all terminals.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK...

VFR conditions likely to continue into the rest of the week as higher pressure provides mostly clear skies and calm weather. Additional rounds of early morning river fog will still be possible for the next few days, especially for KLWB.
