Havant family to give Christmas dinner hampers to the community

Alfie's Arc in Leigh Park, Havant, is a community hub set up last year by Lianne Hutchins and her family, in memory of her son Alfie who died of brain cancer aged seven. It offers year-round support to the community through food parcels, mental health assistance, and various community-based initiatives. Mrs Hutchins said the Christmas dinners are a way of them giving back to members of the community who have supported their hub. 'Overpowering' new warehouse has planning permission from 1957

Residents and politicians are calling for reforms in the planning process after the 25-metre (82 ft) high warehouse was allowed to go ahead in Pilning near Bristol - despite being approved in 1957.
