39% of food produced in Israel last year thrown away, annual report finds
36+ min ago (607+ words) ISRAEL AT WAR - DAY 781 Thirty-nine percent of the food produced in Israel last year was dumped, sending 1.3% of the national GDP down the drain, according to the latest report by Leket Israel'the National Food Bank. The good news is that, per capita, Israelis last year wasted 13.3% less food than 10 years before, dropping from 300 to 260 kilograms (660 to 575 pounds) annually. BDO explained this by citing higher public awareness, replacing vats of food with individual plates in dining halls, a growth in online food orders (reducing surplus food grabbed along supermarket aisles), and technical improvements in food storage. However, these gains were offset by population growth and the rising costs of food, as reflected in the value of the waste. Over the past decade, the Israeli economy has lost food valued at a cumulative NIS 211 billion ($57 billion), the report said. The report noted…...

Many Muslims aren’t shy about their attack-from-within intentions for America
40+ min ago (148+ words) Muslims are coming to America, having families, building mosques and getting elected to the halls of power. They're being open about wanting to make America a Muslim nation. In once-deep red Texas, Muslims are building a master-planned Islamic community innocently called The Meadow, equipped with mosques, Islamic schools, Muslim compliant restaurants and more. The development was formerly called Epic City. The 402-acre development, located in unincorporated areas of Collin and Hunt counties near Josephine, was originally envisioned to include over 1,000 homes. The project remains in the preliminary planning stages, with Community Capital Partners (CCP) stating the new name better describes the property's current state as a meadow and emphasizes an inclusive, family-centered, mixed-use community. First Amendment prevails over gender identity, pronoun guidance
41+ min ago (316+ words) An attorney says an Oregon school district is right to award two teachers $650,000 and recognize their right to criticize their school's gender identity policy. Grants Pass School District teachers Rachel Sager and Katie Medart were terminated in 2021 for participating in the "I Resolve" campaign against the school's policy of allowing males into women's bathrooms. The campaign sought to establish an alternative to the district's "Gender Identity, Transgender, Name, and Pronoun Guidance." "Rachel and Katie just advocated for solutions that they believed in," says Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) attorney Mathew Hoffmann. "They created a video on their own time to bring forward loving, reasonable, and tolerant solutions regarding gender identity and education, and they were terminated for that. And that violates the First Amendment." Sager, who was an assistant principal in the district, and Medart, who taught health and science, faced…...

Pressed by ABC News to name any illegal orders by Trump, Slotkin failed to do so." "To my knowledge, I am not aware of things…...
California family group exposes education officials’ secret violation of federal court
41+ min ago (270+ words) A federal judge is considering filing sanctions against the California Department of Education after it was discovered it was ignoring rescinded "gender secrecy" directives. U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez in 2023 issued an injunction requiring the California Department of Education (CDE) to end enforcement of policies that require teachers to conceal a student's gender identity. The injunction remains in effect as the case Mirabelli v. Olson continues. Benitez found the policies likely violated the'First Amendment rights'of teachers by compelling them to remain silent or lie to parents and the'Fourteenth Amendment rights'of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children. Burt says the department of education lawyers tried to derail the case by arguing the secrecy directives were withdrawn, which has now been proven to be a lie. CFC obtained and shared access to the Department's new'PRISM training, a mandatory course for…...
