Forecasters' discussion
From the National Weather Service office in ILN, issued 4 hrs ago
What Has Changed
No significant changes.
Key Messages
1) High pressure will persist over the region through the week and into the weekend, bringing dry and seasonable conditions.
Discussion
Key Message 1)
A large area of high pressure centered over southeast Canada stretches southward all of the way across the Ohio Valley to the Gulf Coast. A weak system aloft may keep today from being completely cloud free, but overall, the very persistent pattern of abundant sunshine continues. While temperatures are now slightly above normal for late October, the variation from day to day is negligible.
Dry conditions are still forecast into the weekend, however, upper level moisture does begin to increase, leading to partly cloudy skies as more clouds spread eastward into the region.
Aviation
With the exception of KLUK, prevailing VFR conditions remain in the forecast. Wind are light and variable to start, becoming primarily northeasterly throughout the afternoon.
Winds shift a bit more out of the north for Wednesday, but they remain less than 10 knots.
OUTLOOK...No significant weather expected.
